Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to run the service:

Anonymous browser ID (UUID) — a random identifier stored in your browser's localStorage. Used to track your daily free quota (3 queries/day). Wiped when you clear browser data.
Device fingerprint — a hash derived from browser signals (screen size, timezone, fonts, etc.) using ThumbmarkJS. Used to prevent quota bypass via private/incognito windows. Never linked to your identity.
IP address — used for rate limiting to prevent automated abuse. Not stored long-term.
Payment ID — if you pay for premium access, Razorpay processes your payment and provides us a Payment ID to activate your access. We do not store card details, UPI IDs, or any payment credentials.

What we do not collect

Your startup idea — idea text is processed in memory to generate your evaluation and is not stored in our database.
Your name, email address, or any account information — no login is required.
Cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics scripts.

Third-party services

Razorpay — handles payment processing. Subject to Razorpay's privacy policy.
Groq / Google Gemini — your idea text is sent to an LLM provider to generate the evaluation. These providers process the text under their own data policies and do not store it for training.
Supabase — our database host. Stores only the anonymous quota data listed above.
Render — our backend hosting provider.

Data retention

Quota records (UUID + daily count) reset daily. Device fingerprint quota records reset daily. We do not maintain long-term user profiles.

Your rights

You can clear your browser's localStorage at any time to remove your UUID and start fresh. Since we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is no profile to access or delete.
